MATHOD STATEMENT FOR SBT PRESSED COUPLERS

 

Remove the unnecessary attachments on the end of the reinforcing bars before extrusion such as rust, dirt, mortar and burr which affect the installation of the coupler. The ends of the reinforcing bars should be straight. Mark the reinforcing bar with half of the couplers length. Insert the reinforcing bar into the coupler up to the mark and press, using special Hydraulic Pressing Machine with suitable moulds. Then insert the second rebar into the other half of the coupler and Press.

 

QA/QC AND ATTENTION IN THE OPERATION

 

Pressure Gauge Calibration should be Certified Oil Pie should be Connected Tightly to avoid any injury Check the oil Level Make sure that required pressure is given to the machine for pressing Start pressing from the middle of the Coupler, but first pressing line from the middle should be pressed at last.
